FINN JUHL MODEL F/D 136 LOUNGE CHAIR
An exquisite and very rare model F/D 136 lounge chairs designed by Finn Juhl in 1956 for France & Son, Denmark.
A very seldom seen chair, we suspect this design was produced in very limited numbers due to the cost and complexity of construction.
The solid teak frames are an absolute joy to look at with typical Juhl design characteristics such as floating seat supports, highly sculpted armrests and the clever incorporation of metal accents within the timber . It is an extremely handsome chair.
Please note, we have chosen a stunning light khaki coloured fabric from our Danish weavers that is very sympathetic to the original materials designed by France & Son to cover their furniture. The colour in our images appears grey/brown, it is a lovely khaki to the naked eye. Fabric samples are gladly supplied upon request.
