Wonderful and very rare design from Finn Juhl in the late 60’s for France & Son, Denmark.
We have only ever seen a handful of these appear on the market in nearly 20 years of collecting, they are incredibly rare. It is almost non excitant on google searches.
This design is similar to Juhl’s Japan chair however the backrest is hinged and sprung which gives greater comfort. The solid Brazilian Rosewood frame giving the chair a wonderful poise. It is a very handsome design.
Just upholstered in the finest quality Halingdal fabric deigned by Nana Ditzel for Kvadrat.
Offered in excellent condition with makers medallion to the underside.
