Extremely rare model 138 teak three seat sofa designed by Finn Juhl for France & Son, Denmark. These sofas are very seldom seen. The last one we offered for sale was nearly 20 years ago.
Purchased by the previous owner from new in the mid 60’s. Obviously reupholstered sometime in the late 70’s We have decided to leave this as we found it so the buyer has an option to upholster in their choice of fabric. This sofa will look absolutely incredible once dressed in a sympathetic neutral fabric.
This design epitomises the simple yet sophisticated detailing that is synonymous with Danish Modern and of Juhl who helped vanguard the style. It is visually perfect from every conceivable angle.
Offered in excellent condition with France & Son makers badge to the underside.
