Beautiful solid teak lounge chair designed by Grete Jalk in the mid 50’s for France & Son, Denmark.
This is an early production chair and the most desirable in our opinion.
This example offered in excellent condition. The foam cushions have been upholstered in a very high quality Oatmeal fabric. This fabric is almost identical to one of the fabric options available from France & Son during the late 50’s and looks wonderful on this design.
France & Son makers badge to the inside frame. This chair would have been produced prior to 1962.
A very handsome and graceful design that typifies the very best of Danish Modern furniture with outstanding build quality and attention to detail.
