A Danish design classic from Grete Jalk. A solid Teak frame sofa that is full of sculptural appeal and wonderful attention to detail. We took some images of the frame without the cushions to fully appreciate the form of this design. We particularly like the scalloped recesses on the backrest to accommodate each cushion.
Produced by the renowned Danish manufacturer France & Son which always manufactured items of the highest quality. France & Son furniture would have originally been retailed through high end stores such as Heals and at France & Sons flagship showroom on Bond Street.
This sofa was purchased from the original owner. Apart from new webbing it is completely original with the original black leatherette upholstery. This vinyl is in very good condition for its age and is perfectly serviceable. We have priced the sofa very reasonably to allow the buyer an option to reupholster at cost if they wish to do so.
