Model 128 solid teak lounge chair produced by France & Son, Denmark. Original sprung cushion units covered in new black leather.
This is the updated and later iteration of the model 118 (which we also have several examples for sale). The chair looks similar to the earlier model in passing but is a completely different design throughout.
Full of very subtle and pleasing details such as the soft scalloped nook at the top of the backrest stretcher to accommodate the cushion. For this reason we took a few images of the chair without the cushions to fully appreciate the thought and craftsmanship behind the design.
Particularly nice wood grain displayed on each armrest.
Offered in excellent condition with makers medallion to the inside frame.
