Very handsome and beautifully constructed Model 9 sideboard produced by H.P Hansen, Denmark.
Featuring a carcass veneered in very bold Brazilian Rosewood with particularly attractive swirling patterns to the surface. To the right a bank of five drawers each with a finely crafted minimalst pull. Two sliding doors reveal a height adjustable shelf with ample storage space within. The whole unit stands on solid rosewood legs.
This design is very seldom seen and rarely offered for sale. It is possible this was designed by Svend Madsen as he did draft designs for H.P Hansen, it is worthy of further investigation.
