A highly polished chromed steel frame holds an incredibly beautiful Brazilian rosewood base and glass top. The table is mounted on four castors for easy of movement.
A very high quality item. The designer of this item Richard Young studied at the RCA London before winning a scholarship to attend the Royal Art Academy in Copenhagen where he studied under Ole Wanscher.
Young started Merrow Associates in 1966 with the aim of producing high end furniture influenced by his love of Scandinavian Modern.
Merrow Associates was active from 1966-1979. The furniture was sold at high end furniture stores such as Heals and Harrods.
This table is typical of the design ethos of the brand.
