An outstanding example. This is an earlier production from the 60s with feather down filled cushions for the ultimate in comfort. Early chairs are hard to find, even more so finished in this wonderful Butterscotch colour leather which would have been a premium leather option. The combination of the light tan leather against the exotic Brazilian rosewood is very pleasing.
Offered in beautiful restored condition. No breaks or repairs to any of the wooden shells. All wooden shells re polished highlighting the wonderful exotic timber. Two new shock mounts fitted to the seat shell. The leather lovely and supple with only mild wear.
We have secured the seat cushion with velcro as the original clips had chewed through the backing of the cushion. This is very common to see on chairs this age. Rather than replace the cushion backing (which will alter the original look and shape of the cushion) we have secured it with Velcro. This is actually a more reliable method of holding the cushion in place and a method we have employed on our own chair at home for many years.
A beautiful example of this highly collectible design classic in a very rare and desirable colour option.
