One of all time favourite designs, the model 147 chair designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Molgaard Nielsen is one of the most graceful Danish Modern chairs. A combination of the very expressive fluid lines of the frame with the rattan backrest allowing light to pass gives the chair a wonderful aesthetic.
This example is a late 50’s production offered in excellent condition. The rattan has just been professionally re-woven and the cushion has been upholstered with Hallingdal fabric from Kvadrat designed by Nanna Ditzel.
A beautiful statement chair that is also very comfortable.
