Beautiful Model 516 coffee table constructed from solid Teak throughout with subtle brass arms embracing a Rattan under tier. One of the nicest Midcentury Danish coffee tables, it is an object of exquisite beauty designed by two of the most talented architects.
On a personal level this design was the first piece of good Danish Midcentury design we ever bought many years ago and we still have it in our home to this day where it serves as an excellent TV and HiFi stand. The rattan under tier being perfect for placing a couple of HiFi separates.
Clearly marked with the France & Son metal medallion to the underside.
Offered in excellent condition with beautiful colour and grain exhibited to the surface.
This design was originally offered with two heights. This example is the taller version at 50cm, however we can offer it as a lower version of 40cm if preferred as we have a spare set of original lower height legs available, they simply screw in place and can be interchangeable.
