Designed by Architects Peter Hvidt & Orla Molgaard Nielsen in 1954 the Boomerang chair is one of the most elegant chair designs of the Mid Century period.
Often looking more Italian than Danish in origin the beautifully crafted frame stands on slim brass plated legs creating a wonderfully minimal yet sophisticated design in keeping with the very best in Danish Modern.
A particularly nice example with lovely colour and grain to the timber. The original cushions upholstered in very high quality contrasting grey fabrics true to the original colours offered by France & Son in the late 50’s.
The original brass plated legs in beautiful condition with only mild tarnishing.
