One of our all time favourite designs, the model 147 chair designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Molgaard Nielsen is one of the most graceful Danish Modern chairs. A combination of the very expressive fluid lines of the frame with the rattan backrest allowing light to pass gives the chair a wonderful aesthetic.

We once positioned one of these chairs in our home. It sat by a large window with a planted balcony behind. The Rattan backrest allowed the view to pass through the furniture which was perfect in this situation. This design also featured in the very first James Bond film Dr No.
We managed to take all these images at the studio without noticing the seat cushion was not properly tucked into the frame. It does fit perfectly.
