Long low coffee table constructed from solid Teak throughout with subtle brass arms embracing a Rattan under tier. One of the nicest Midcentury Danish coffee tables, it is an object of exquisite beauty designed by two of the most talented architects.
On a personal level this design was the first piece of good Danish Midcentury design we ever bought many years ago and we still have it in our home to this day where it serves as an excellent TV and HiFi stand. The rattan under tier being perfect for placing a couple of HiFi seperates.
This is a particularly nice example with lovely colour and grain exhibited to the solid timber. The Rattan is in excellent condition free of any damage.
Clearly marked with two France & Son metal medallions to the underside.
This design was originally offered with two heights. This example is the low version which is much more attractive and lends itself better to modern interiors.
